Word has to re-configure

I recently installed Office 2007.
Now if I start Word it has to configure every time.
It takes about 3 minutes to do this,
Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint open normally.
Can anyone help?

I think your are right. it is the problem of more than one version
of MS word.

Yes I also have Office 2003 installed.
I left it on because my wife and grandson find the 2003 version easier to
use.

You can modify the Windows registry as described in

and http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=928091 "Information about using

version of Office" to stop the reconfiguring process.
