I just installed Word from Office 2000 on my Windows XP Home desktop.
everything seems fine except when I try to open the help screen. At this
point I get a message "Feature you are trying to use is on a CD ROM . . .."
even though I have already installed help. When I insert the CD Rom I then
get "Error 1919 Error Configuring ODBC data source: MS Access Database ODBC
Error 6; Component not found in registry. I then get the same basic error
message for Dbase, Excel, Visual FoxPro Database and Visual FoxPro Tables.
If I keep clicking ignore or cancel enought times (many) eventually the help
files appear and are fine. But I have to go through this every time I open
the help files.
I'm using a new HP computer (my old one died) and I had no problem with this
program on my old one.
Any help would be much appreciated.
