Word immediately minimizes

Running Word 97 on Windows 2000.

When Word opens up, it immediately minimizes and flashes
in the taskbar. It opens up when I click on it, but it is
annoying that it doesn't open immediately.

Any ideas?

Try disabling the Norton AntiVirus Office plug-in.
