Word & International, keyboard

I've ran into a problem, my international setting is Slovenian keyboard layout (default), English interface.
Each time I start Word it switches to US keyboard. I can manually switch back, that's not a problem, but where can I set this to "stay"?
I don't have this problem with Excel...

Anyone has an idea?

Thank you in advance,
Ales

There are multiple problems with keyboard alyout and unfortunately at
this point I have no solution for you :-(

How is your text defined?? Is it set as English text?? Word tries to
"think" for us and map layout to languages int he documents. I
positively hate that.

Word picks up its start-up keyboard from the System's International settings
when it launches. It then switches the language and font to match.

Basically, it wrecks the document!

We are trying to persuade them to fix this. But because it's a design bug,
they currently think it's a "feature" and they won't do anything about it.

Use Help>Send Feedback to explain what you want and why.

If enough people do this, they will make the change. Otherwise... (And
Microsoft won't see your comments in here...)

Cheers

Nope, it's set as Slovenian text.
