Word is busy printing...

Hi there,

Using COM automation, I am loading up a ".doc" file and printing it,
then closing the document and the application. At current, sometimes I
recieve a warning from Word saying that it is busy finishing printing, I
presume this is because it was being asked to close at this point.

Is there anyway to ask Word if it is busy or not? And if so, give it a
little time until it isn't busy...

I can't let the user see this message, it would look bad :-(

Many thanks in advance.

Nick.

You need to turn off background printing for the duration of your automation.
The PrintBackground option is a property of Word's Application object.
