word is set to be email editor...

"I am getting a MS Word is set to be your email editor. However, Word is
unavailable, not installed, or is not the same version as outlook. outlook
email editor will be used instead" message.

Just installed the full '03 office suite, so not sure what it's talking
about. I can check the box under tools, mail format for word to be the
default, but then the following instance of a new message that warning comes
up, and the box is unchecked on its own.

I am using a second drive to run my apps (not the same as my system drive,
but I cannot imagine '03 somehow REGRESSED from my previous version, which
was also on the same drive, and also set up to work with word as the email
editor (and worked successfully).

Help. This, aside from annoying, actually does suck when I cannot have some
of the autocorrect and capitalize features that I'm used to.
