word italicize footnote hover text

In word, when one hovers over a footnoted-reference, a textbox is drawn
near the superscript, displaying any information quoted at the bottom of the
page--in a completely professional manner, I might add, if not for one thing.

If information at the bottom of the page is italicized, it is not shown
as italicized in the superimposed textbox.
I think it would be cool when, for instance, my
by-correspondence-professor is reading a document I sent by email that
contains footnotes. When this old guy is reading the paper on his monitor
(which he has set to 640x480 for some god-awful reason) all he has to do is
hover his cursor by the footnote so he doesn't have to scroll down the
page...oh yeah, and see the thing in italics. Discrepensies are caused in
text when you don't allow things to be italicized. Check it out.
