Word keeps closing

My Word program keeps closing. The program is only 5 months old but
keeps giving my the "word unexpectedly quit" error. This is extremely
annoying. Please help me to fix this problem. I have to save my work
every 30 seconds just to keep from losing everything. Please help - I
am a student and its crunch time!

Are you on a Mac? Try the standard troubleshooting tips, listed here:
http://word.mvps.org/Mac/TroubleshootingIndex.html

Work through them one by one until something helps. If nothing does,
post back. The most common culprit is a corrupted Normal template or
damaged Preferences file.
