Word Lock-up

I've been using Word for a long time without the slightest
difficulty. NOW, seemingly all of a sudden, whenever I
double-click the Word icon to start the program running,
it completely locks-up my computer and I'm forced to Ctrl-
Alt-Del several times to cause the system to reboot. AND,
I cannot run Word at all. Any suggestions, please?

try uninstall and then reinstall the program. there might
have been a virus that could have gotten onto the word
program, and that could be the reason that you are having
such problems.
