Word locking up

Using Windows XP Pro with Office Suite Word etc. After
using Word for a short time, it locks up and looses my
unsaved work.

How can I fix?

Get your computer fixed. You might have viruses, malware, cooling problems,
or Windows could be corrupted. Also, try to save your changes (Ctrl + S is
the easiest way) very frequently.

Finally, "it locks up and loses, not "looses" your unsaved work. :) I don't
know why everybody forgot how to spell "lose."
