I am having the following issues with a large (600 page) document
developed on Windows using a version of Word. The pictures were drawn
with the Word drawing tool and exhibit the following characteristics:
.. "Edit Picture" gives an error indicating that the picture cannot be opened.
.. "Edit Picture" does nothing.
.. "Edit Picture" opens the drawing, but all text has floated to the top of the
picture.
About half the pictures, maybe more, open just fine. But this is obviously a
big problem. Has anybody encountered this? And, if I upgrade to the latest
version of Word has it been fixed?
