Word not collecting items on clipboard

My Microsoft Word 2003 clipboard is not collecting items when I copy,
therefore I can't paste. There appears to be no items in clipboard. I've
tried shutting down computer and the copy + paste functions (no matter which
method I use) don't work.

I can't copy inside the same Word document or to new Word documents or even
Outloook.

Any other users had similar troubles and how did you resolve?

Hi Angie,

If you start Word in Office safe mode (hold down the ctrl key when starting Word), do you have the same problems in a new document?

If so then try using Start=>Programs=>Accessories=>System Tools and run Disk cleanup, but do *not* delete the 'Office Setup files'
category that will appear there.

If you don't see the problem in safe mode you may have one or more Add-ins running with Word, such as Acrobat from Adobe, that may
be interfering.
