Yes, it only occurs in Word. I use CA Antivirus. I have 2 GB of RAM. And
as to your last question, I don't know how to even check if I have Word's
Automatic Backup feature. Just so you know, this occurs approximately 6
times a day. I'm so desperate for help!

Well I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Then this morning, it froze
again.
Only this time my daughter was typing a school paper and lost everything!

group,
it's violating the license. You would need one of the other
editions
of
Office to be compliant.

No, it has never worked properly. I've had it since
November,
2007.
I
had
always thought I just had to live with it, so I never
questioned
it.

license
by
doing
transcription work. That's why it says "non-commercial
use".

Well, the screen freezes right in the middle of typing
and
at
the
top
of
the
screen it will say "Microsoft Noncommercial Use Not
Responding"
and
I
have
to
"X" out of Word and restart Word. And I do save my
work,
but
it
occurs
just
about every 5 to 10 minutes. I am a medical
transcriptionist
and
I
need
Word
to work correctly. I don't know what to do?
