Word not responding.

apple/option/esc message: Word not responding.
I have little hope to save the changes to file, but just in case some new technique has arisen.
I know, I should have saved the hour or so of work. I was careless!
Thanks, karelina

Hi Karelina:

No, there's nothing "new" -- if it is not responding, you need to
force-quit.

If you get really lucky, AutoRecover will kick in when you restart and
restore everything up to ten minutes ago.

But if you do not have AutoRecover switched on, or if you have never saved
the file, then your work existed only in memory and when Word fails, the
memory is wiped.

Sorry... Next version should be a lot better in this regard :)

Cheers
