Word of Excel

We are using a Novel server version 6, and the desktops are win2k-pro and
winxp-pro, when we open an excel or word file on any workstation, and the
file gets open at the same time on another workstation, the second user gets
the following Pop up message:

"filename" is locked for editing by "username"
Open "Read-Only' or, click 'Notify' to open read-only and receive
notification when the document is no longer in use.

I know there is a fix for this, but can't remember how to fix it, does
anyone knows how to fix this problem? or know of a document that talks about
this? Please help

Thank you,

Thank you,

It's NOT a problem! How can two people have the same file open at the
same time? It stops two people making changes to a file at once. Surely
that's a logical thing to have?
