when loading word or powerpoint, both load then after
approx 10 seconds the machine re-boots, also happens when
opening wordpad and tring to print..

Hi David,

You may have a corrupt file that's used by Office. Try Repairing Office. you
can do this via Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. When you select
Microsoft Office, you should get a repair option. You may need the install
CDs for this to work.
