Word on Windows xp 2002

My harddrive was recently cleaned with Windows xp 2002
loaded by Gateway service. The word program is asking for
a product number (registration) but does not recognize
the number on the sticker attached to the computer. Other
programs seem to work well.

The sticker on your computer is the product key for Windows. Look for the
Word/Office key on a sticker on the CD case or printed on a Certificate of
Authenticity accompanying the CD.
