Word only opens in safe mode even after Office reinstallation. Why

We have reinstalled Office XP twice and still are only able to open Word in
safe mode. We do not have this problem with other Office programs, such as
Excel.

Seldom does reinstalling resolve issues starting Word. Typically it's
due to a third-party conflict, such as an add-in, or a corrupt
Normal.dot. For more information and the most common troubleshooting
