I have a client that has developed a problem. When the click on a Word
or Excel file from Windows Explorer it will not open the application. I
have tried to do a repair and that did not resolve it. I tried to
reinstall it and the same results. I can open Word and then navigate to
the file using File > Open from the menu and it will open just fine. I
went in and changed the file association of the extension .DOC to open
with Notepad and when I click on the file it open up in Notepad just
fine. I changed the file association back and it results in Word not
opening again. Any suggestion or comments on this would be greatly
appreciated.
