Word page headers

Hi

I have a Word document that has 2 pages, both with a header and footer. I
would like to add a 3rd page with no header and footer (or a different one).
It seems I can do this in Word, but not through a macro (it removes the
header from the first page).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Insert a Next Page section break after the 2nd page. With the header on page
3 active, click the Header toolbar tool called "Same as previous" (to toggle
its state to OFF) to unlink that section's header from those in previous
pages. Do the same for the footer. Once done, you can click in the
header/footer area on page 3 and delete what's there without affecting the
headers/footers on pages 1 and 2.

Sorry I didn't mention that I am using Word 2003, which does not have a "same
as previous" option.

As Bob indicated, I gave it the wrong name (the consequence is called "Same
as Previous" just above the header are in page layout view. It's the 5th
button from the right in the Header and Footer toolbar in Word 2003.

Hi Peter,

In Word 2003 that would be the 'link to previous' button :)
