Word page number

Hi,

I using word 2003, now want to write a docunment with page number but the
frist two page is for cover page and subject page so I want to start the page
number by page 3. How can I do? that said, the page 3 will show "1", page 4
will show "2" for page number

basic principles. If you don't want page numbers in section 1 (cover
page and subject page), then don't put page numbers in the section 1
header or footer.
