Word Perfect

When I go to Word Perfect to type a new document, the
backgroud of where I type is black and I cannot see what
was typed. If I click on the black line the type appears,
but as soon as I attempt to correct it the line turns
black. Also if I go to "My Documents", as soon as I go to
correct something, the lines turn black and I cannot see
what I type. Do I have to change a setting to correct
this? Your assistance is appreciated.

Hi Louis

If you really mean WordPerfect, then you're not only in the wrong newsgroup,
you're on the wrong server -- WordPerfect is a Corel product, not Microsoft.

If you meant Microsoft Word, or if WordPerfect has the same problem that
Word sometimes does (I don't know, haven't used WP since version 5.1), try
going into the Windows display settings [Start > Settings > Control Panel >
Display > Settings] and increasing the color depth of your display.
