Word Picture Editor

Word 2003: Insert> Object> Word Picture Editor

I could draw objects within a frame and they would maintain their relativity
once the editor was locked and inserted into the document.

I am not able to find a similar function in Word 2007.

Please help.

I suspect you are looking for the Drawing Canvas?

On the Insert tab, click Shapes, and then click New Drawing Canvas.
