Add Print View for Word Issue - Infopath 2007 - John Ruff

Hi John,

I know this issue is over a year old now, but this problem may be occurring because the 'myFields' entity was not first placed onto the page when you were building your print view in Word.

myFields appears (probably at the bottom) in the list of fields from your InfoPath template and must be added to the page before any other fields. The fields whose data you want to be displayed must be added inside the myFields start and end tags for their data to appear.

I have followed the instructions in "Using the Info Path to Word Wizard
(http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa662316(office.11).aspx) on the
Expense Report Sample that comes with Infopath 2007. I created three fields
in the Word 2007 document. Date, Name and Department and inserted the date,
name, and department elements from the ExpenseReportSample.xsn file. When I
email the report to myself and print it, only the headers Date, Name,
Department are displayed as formatted. The values in the Date (1/11/2008),
Name (John Ruff), or Department (Information Technology) elements are blank

Can anyone steer me in the right direction in having these elements
populated

Thanks

From initial views it sounds like there might be fields missing from your
print vie
