word: printing single label always starts top left

hi. when i want to print just a single label on m.word 2002 it always uses
the top left square, even when i select a different column and different row.
how do i change this as i am only getting to use 2 labels from a page of 16
labels. thanks for your help.

Not sure but I think I've come across that same thing.
-- What I do is click Full Page of Same Label
-- Then click, while it's till blank, New Document
That creates a Word file of the whole sheet of blank labels.
Then I just save that as a Template (.dot) and use that to prit
single labels anywhere on the page that I wish.

IMO, it's more convenient than using the Label feature anyway and
faster to get to.

thanks pops.. i will give this a try.. your right it seems like a much more
logical way of doing it..

Hi riddler-

First, make sure you have the most current driver for your printer and
reinstall a fresh copy even if what you have is current.

Also, make sure that the Label specified matches the label sheets you are
printing on.
