Word prints a page number on envelopes

Word prints a page number on envelopes. How can I set the default to omit page numbers on envelopes, but keep page numbers on documents?

Hi Bruce -

If those page numbers are not displaying in Print Layout View the most
likely cause is that your printer has a setting to automatically supply page
numbers. Check out your printer settings thoroughly & you might also look to
see if there is a driver update on the mfr's site.
