Word prints email address on labels

Since I moved from Windows ME to XL and Office 2000 to Office XL, microsoft
word uses the 'display as' field complete with email address on regular
address labels. Short of editing every address book entry, is there any way
around this? Thanks.

I presume you are referring to inserting the address from your Outlook
Contacts? If so then take a look at this article:

If you select word>tools>letters and mailings>envelopes and labels..., an
address dialog box appears, and there doesnt seem to be anyway to modify the
address layout in use.

Did you review the KB article I cited?

The AddressLayout used is an AutoText entry and it can be modified.
