Word Problem

I am doing an outline in word and one of my numbers is highlighted, but I
can't get it to come off. I have tried to select it and click on highlight,
none, but it is not working. Please help.

This is caused by having the Highlight format at the end of the
previous paragraph. You'll need to remove it there to prevent you list
items from being formatted the same as the previous paragraph.

To see exactly where the Highlight format is located turn on your
nonprinting characters: Ctrl + Shift + * or click ¶ in the Standard
toolbar.
