every time i try to start word ... it locks up my computer ... all other
programs on office run fine. I have tried reinstalling to na avail. Any

Let me guess - you're running NAV, right? Disable the Office plugin or -
better yet - ditch it altogether and install AVG - it doesn't feel the need
to monitor every damned mouseclick!

I have no trouble to Norton AV - even if it does monitor every blessed
keystroke!
