Is there anyway in View-Normal I can see the inserted picture in my
word document?
All I see is a blank white rectange and sometimes when I push the CR it
will show uop and sometime not. Pls advise.

You do not say what version of Word you are using - but if it is Word 2003,
choose TOOLS/OPTIONS and select the VIEW tab. If "picture placeholders" is
checked - uncheck it.

I know this response is about a week old, but I wanted to add this:

If the suggestion Gerry makes above does not work, try this:

1. Open Start, then navigate to Settings
2. Select Control Panel
3. Select Display
4. Click on the Settings Tab
5. Click on the Advanced button
6. Click on the Troubleshoot Tab
7. Look at the Hardware acceleration--if the pointer is pointing to
"Full", move it to the left by about 4 notches.
8. Click Apply
9. Click OK

The screen may go black for a moment, but it will come back.

10 Open up Word
11. Look at where your picture should be--the picture should now display
here.
