This may be either a corrupt printer driver, a corrupt font or a corrupt
registry. Delete and reinstall your printer driver. If it is the registry,
then this is the advice from fellow MVP Beth:
It could be caused by some corruption in the Registry. Exit Word and
in the Registry drill down to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Word\List Gallery
Presets
and rename the "List Gallery Presets" key. Word will create a new one
upon starting.
As always, prior to making any changes to the Registry you should
review "Backing up the Registry" and "Restoring the Registry" in the
Registry Help.
In this situation you may want to use the Registry/Export Registry
file command, export your selected branch, and delete the key. That
way if you find the change wasn't necessary or incorrect, you can
merge the deleted branch back to the Registry by double-clicking the
resulting file. Otherwise if you find renaming the key corrected the
problem it can be deleted.
