word restarts computer

This just started recently. Whenever I open Word, it
shuts down along with anything else running and restarts
the computer. Anyone know how to fix this?

I have XP. I just went to download the service packs but
it says I need the Office XP Professional with Frontpage
disk which I can't find. It looks like I have XP Office
with Word 2002. I haven't downloaded any service packs.

I recommend that you install all updates first: you will need to find your
disk. You may find some help in the following FAQ, but you still need those
updates.
