WORD.RET FILE NOT FOUND (SERV PCK 2) PART OF .MSI INSTALL

after installing service pack 2 for office xp,windows xp always get error
message upon computer startup: WORDRET.MSI FILE NOT FOUND. PART OF SERVICE
PACK 2 INSTALL. INSERT CD.
I
HAVE NO CD ALL INSTALLED. NEVER A PROBLEM TILL I UPDATED. ROY JOHNSON

Hi Roy,

WordRet.MSI would be part of a standalone copy of MS Word
or of CD#1 from MS Works Suite. Look in Add/Remove Programs
in the Windows control panel and you should see a separate
Microsoft Word installation item.

If the software was preinstalled on your PC the PC supplier
should have provided you with the CD as well.
