Apologies if this is the wrong NG, please feel free to point me to the
right one.
We distribute Word via Novell in the form of MSIs and a few of our Users
are finding that when they open an already existing document from within
Windows Explorer the banner along the top says Document1 instead of the
actual filename and path.
We've found a cure for this which is to go to Windows Explorer, Tools,
Folder Options, File Types then navigate to File Type: Microsoft Word
Document then click Advanced and then highlight Open and then click Set
as Default.
What I'd like to do is check that this is already set in the MSI
registry settings but I am unsure where to look. I am also unsure on
what I need to change to make this the default if it's not the case.
