Word shell opens

In Outook07, when replying to and e-mail, a Shell of MSword opens behind the
message and takes over as the active window. When I click send, the msword
shell sticks around and wont close by itself. It only does this on reply.

This often is caused by an add-in that you have installed.
Which ones do you have?
Does it still happen in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

Yes it does it in safe mode
The addins I have are
Google Desktop
Itunes outlook addin
Groove Proxy
Sharepoint Server
Outlook mobile
one note notes
Outlook change
PDFMoutlook
Windows search e-mail

Are you perhaps in a multi-monitor configuration? Especially (older) Matrox
drivers are known to cause this behavior.

I was just thinking about that and am currently downloading new drivers for
my matrox. Thanks
