Word should combine the advantages of the SDI and the MDI

Word should combine the advantages of the SDI and the MDI.

By default, when you select Window | Arrange all, you get a copy of the menu
bar plus all visible toolbars on your screen for each open document,
unnecessarily occupying valuable space.
This can be solved by clearing Tools | Options... | tab View | Windows in
Taskbar and thus change to the old MDI, but this way you loose the ability to
Alt-Tab to your documents.

I would like Word to display its toolbars and menu bar only once, while
retaining the ability to Alt-Tab to each open document (but since the menu
and toolbars are all radically changed in the next version of Office, this
problem may already be dealt with in this version).
