I forgot my password and I want my document back, I Know I should not have to
protect the document in first place, but now I´m stuck and I don´t want an
"ilegal" way to move on, if you know what I mean. I would like you to help me
solve this.

If you could open password-protected documents without the password, then
Word's security would not be good for much! The moral to this story is,
don't use a password if you don't need it; and if you do use one, make sure
you will remember it. That said, if the document is not protected by a
password to open, you can remove the protection by either inserting the
document into a fresh document (forms protection) or using Save As (password
to modify).
