I have randomly entered some info, line by line. I want to sort
them. In some notepad, such as Textpad, this can be easily done but I
don't see this available in Word ? Or I missed something ? Thanks !

Hi Ding,

In Word, select the text you want sorted.

In versions prior to Word 2007 use
Tables=>Sort (the data does not have to be in a table)
(Alt, A, S).

In Word 2007 the Table Ribbon is contextual, so it doesn't appear by default when the data isn't in a table, but Alt, A, S
will still bring up the dialog, or you can add the Sort... command to the Quick Access Toolbar from
Office Button=>Word Options=>Customize=>All Commands
