Word start-up document

Every time I open Word or start a new Word document under
the File menu, a document opens ( a page that was started
three months ago). I can not open word without this
document opening. I have deleted this document from my
files and documents and it still appears every time Word
is opened. HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS DOCUMENT? How can I
open a new worksheet and not have this document appear? I
have even uninstalled my software and then re-installed
and the smae document appeared again.
HELP???
