Word still Hangs up
I have posted several messages about our word problem.
If we are logged on to word for several hours word starts
to load slow only when we pull files from our server. If
we log off and log back on word works great for several
hours then it starts to hang again. Now word will pull up
immediatly a document that resides locally on my machine.
I have tried the autodisconnect and moved it 65534
minutes equivelent to 45.5 days. and still that hasn't
fixed the issue.
word start slow then the blue bar with white screen, then
the document loads but you can't control anything for
another 30 seconds or so. this has been happening for
several weeks
We don't use norton and installing word on the server did
no help either. I also made copies of my normal .dot
template to commonly used subfolders on the server no
good there either.
This has become a nuisance and Microsoft says there is
nothing wrong unless I wish to pay them money to fix it.
