I'm trying to print several files of a theater script made with Word
last year. They printed fine in the past, but now for some reason
they won't print on any different printer/system I try. A new Word
doc will print fine, and other Word docs made in the past will print
fine, but not these script files. When I tried to copy the text from
the script file to a new Word doc, it wouldn't print. What is going
on??
Actually, I just tried copying the text from a script file to a new
doc file and it printed, but when I add the header and page numbers it
doesn't work, so that must be where the problem is for some reason.
But again, this worked and printed just fine (with header and numbers)
on several different printers last year. ???? I don't care so much
about the header, but I need those page numbers, and it won't print
even without the header. And once I remove the header and numbers, it
won't print at all again.
When I say it doesn't work, the print icon comes up and briefly shows
the document spooling, but then quickly empties of anything and
nothing happens. It shows 0 documents in the queue.
Running MSWord 9.0.6926 SP-3 (on this system, at least), WinNT
At home I've got WinXP Home, but I don't know offhand which version on
MS Word I've got.
Anyone know what's up???
