Word table not jumping to next page

Hi
I have a Word document (created by somebody else) which I am trying to
update. The document consists mainly of tables, and when I enter a lot
of text into one of the tables, it disappears off the edge of the
page. I expected the table to jump onto the next page, but it doesn't.

Any ideas why this is happening? It's driving me mad,
