Word Table to Powerpoint Slide?

How do I copy a Word 2003 table to a PowerPoint slide?
I'd like to maintain the Word formatting.
This particular table is long and will not fit onto 1 slide.

Select the table in Word, copy it, and paste in PPT.

It should paste in as a PPT table.

Alternatively, you can use Edit/Paste Special in PPT to see some other paste
options. Pasting as a Word option should keep your formatting -- but it
won't necessarily make it any easier to fit onto one slide!
