Word tables

I have a multi paged table created in a word document. when I get to page 6 the table fills only one third of the page and then jumps to a new page-leaving the previous page two thirds empty. How can I correct this problem. I need to format the document to be sent to a printer and dread the thought of cutting and pasting manually.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Check each paragraph in the portion of the table that jumps to the next page
and make sure that none are formatted as "Keep with next."
