Word temp on server

Hi,

I'm at a customer, they're using Office X and Office 2004 (with the
updates), on OS X 10.3.9 and 10.4.2.
They're opening Word documents from their server, and when they save
the documents, it is automatically creating files like "WORD_D 1" and
on and on.
Is there anything in Word or somewhere to do, that the temp would not
create ?

It is very frustrating for the users, especially when some persons has
the problem, and some hasn't.

Hi Eric,
These files are created when you are working on a word document but go away
when you quit word .
Are you seeing these even after you quit word ?

if you are seeing them even after word quits you can create a temp folder
on the server and give people access to it . then these files will be
created there and can be deleted .
