Word Template and markup problems

Daz

Hi,

One of my colleagues was sent a document with Markup on, now her template
for a quote is doing some odd things. Firstly Markup is staying on all the
time, and now when she opens the template file she has to click
View..Header/Footer before she can see the whole page. Does anyone know how
to get around this so that she can go back to seeing all of her template, and
also how to keep markup off?

We've tried changing the settings and saving a new version of the template,
but it has made no difference.

Cheers for any help / advice.

Daz

Markup - Accept all changes, turn off track changes. (There is a button in
the status bar at the bottom of the screen.)

Headers/footers - See http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/WhiteSpace.htm.

Cheers, the white space did the trick.

As for the markup, it appears that is off anyway! Just looks to be on, when
looking at the menu, the TRK button at the bottom is off.

You not only have to turn it off but also (using the reviewing toolbar)
accept all changes.
