Word to Excel Conversion?

Is there any way to convert a Word document or template into an Excel
spreadsheet? (besides cutting and pasting)

Make sure that you use tables in word, then try a Save As from the Word doc
as an HTML page. I'm not sure that will work, but that's what I would do.
