How can I save a Word document as an image file?

if you have office
then you should be
able to print to the
"office document image
writer".

if it is not installed
printing to pdf might
be an alternative since
some software can
convert pdf's to tiff
images.

Not easily unless you include PDF in the meaning of "image." You can
download free PDF creation utilities and then print the Word file to
PDF. To save the work file as gif or jpeg or something like that would
be either done by doing a lot of printscreen's or by running the PDF
file through something like OmniPage scanning program.

Thank You for your reply.The office image writer is only available for
Office 2003 and I have Office XP. I have a program that I can convert Word
to PDF but I can not convert from PDF to Image.

and maybe other
graphic software
have the converter
also.

Can't find any free converters but there are plenty of programs that will
convert PDF to images. These two products (I haven't tried them) appear to
product images directly from Word by printing to the program (similar to
creating a PDF file.)
