Word Toolbars

Alec Green

Hi, I am using basic HTML to use as a front end for my Quality Documents,
which are all written in word - this work fine, except I cant stop the
review toolbar showing everytime a document is opened.

I have tried to disable the toolbar using an autexec macro but although this
work when using word itself, it still appears whrn the document is opened
through HTML.

Any ideas ????

Thanks

Alec

HTML can't be used as a front-end, and one can't open a document
through HTML. HTML is a mark-up language that specifies how text should
appear in a browser, such as Internet Explorer. Are you talking about
opening them in a browser?

Which version of Word do you have installed? Do the documents contain
tracked changes that have't been resolved? Were these files emailed
using Outlook, by any chance?
