A Word document was drafted and subsequent documents created using the “save
as†feature for a total of 18 separate documents. All of these documents
were then filed in various folders and sub folders. They are not linked in
any way as far as can be detected. One of the Word documents was e-mailed to
a client who then e-mailed it back with the track changes feature turned on.
When this document was opened all of the other documents that were created
with the “save as†feature adopted all of this client’s changes highlighted
under tracked changes. Even if these documents are retrieved from archives
and saved at a date prior to the e-mail being received, the problem still
occurs.
Please help with any info!
